6. What is the difference between a good career and a great career?

There are great jobs and great careers, and then there are the high-workload, high-stress, bloodsucking, soul-destroying kinds of jobs, and practically nothing in-between. You should work like a dog for a great career, and good career is not about working hard, it’s about being neutral, gaining the benefit, but not aiming to do more due to the fear of being a failure.

7. What excuses do people make for deciding not to have a great career?

People are afraid if they look for their passion and don't find it, they'll feel like they’re idiots, so then they make excuses about why they're not going to pursue their passions. They think that great careers are really and truly just a matter of luck. So they are going to stand around, going to try to be lucky, and if they are lucky, they will have a great career. If not, they'll have a good career. Then, the other excuse is that there are special people who pursue their passions, but they are geniuses. And they think they are definitely not, so if they can’t get a great career anyway, why should they be trying to?

8. What is a curriculum vitae? What points should it include?

CV is the document in which people list their work history, education, interests and abilities. It's a challenge to prove on a piece of paper that you're better than the other people who want the same position. It should be brief, give the information in a few words. Most professionals store their CVs electronically so that they can be updated when necessary. As for the format of CV, much depends on your experience and the area you are working in.

9. How can children's toys influence their career choices?

Different types of toys give different messages about what’s appropriate for boys and girls to do, and have different educational content – both elements are important and might have a bearing on schooling and career choices later. A small study found that boys tended to be given toys that involved action, construction and machinery, while girls were steered towards dolls and perceived “feminine” interests, such as hairdressing. The message seemed to be boys should be making things and problem solving, and girls should be caring and nurturing.

10. What didactic information can toys contain?

Boys’ toys tend to contain didactic information, with technical instructions and fitting things together with Lego and Meccano, whereas girls' toys tend to be around imaginative and creative play, which develop different skills. For example, board games, "dominoes" - thanks to them it is possible to develop speech, mathematical abilities, attention and logic, and games with words, - allow you to describe objects, highlight the signs.

11. Why is the American nation called the nation of fame, fortune and foolishness?

American celebrities, musicians, actors, and entrepreneurs have achieved worldwide recognition and fame. Historically, the United States has been known as the "land of opportunity" where individuals can pursue and achieve wealth and success. The country has a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

The inclusion of "foolishness" may reflect certain negative perceptions of American society and culture. Some argue that the United States has elements of consumerism, materialism, and excessive individualism, which can be seen as foolish or shallow.
