Бесплодие самцов

ВВЕДЕНИЕ

Диагноз «бесплодие» ставят кобелю после нескольких неудачных попыток оплодотворить одну или нескольких фертильных сук в наиболее благоприятный для вязки период эструса. Типы бесплодия могут различаться по тяжести и длительности. В случае полного и перманентного бесплодия кобеля считают стерильным.

Однако бесплодие может быть неполным, частичным или временным, при этом кобель демонстрирует ограниченную фертильность, характеризующуюся низкой способностью к оплодотворению и/или малочисленностью помета. Несмотря на всю очевидность данной патологии, установить вызвавшие ее причины, провести диагностику и лечение отнюдь не просто.

Бесплодных самцов можно разделить на две категории:

• самцы, не способные к совершению нормального коитуса;

• самцы, не способные к оплодотворению.
