USING FLUORESCENCE PARAMETERS IN ORDER TO ESTIMATE
WATER QUALITY
Abstract. The structure of fluorescence and generation spectra of the Kola Peninsula natural waters was considered. In waters and cultural media, two main bands of fluorescence were registered and discussed later. Based on the analysis of generation spectra and other studied parameters the preliminary conclusions on chemical compounds, characterized as responsible for fluorescence in uncontaminated natural waters, were made.
